Stanley "Boe" Fobb, 61

Stanley died Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at the Community Memorial Hospital in Wagner. Funeral services are 1 PM, Saturday, November 22, 2025 at the Greenwood Community Center. Burial is in the Greenwood Presbyterian Cemetery. Wake services will be 7 PM Friday at the Community Center.

Stanley "Boe" Fobb was born on February 18, 1964, to Solomon and Virta Fobb in Coalgate, Oklahoma. He grew up alongside his six siblings: Pat, Janice, Linda, Preston, Scott, and Ronnie. Boe attended Coalgate High School before moving to South Dakota at the age of 18.

In South Dakota, Boe met Nancy Louise Cooke and together they raised their children: Anthony, Ashley, Andrew, Aaron and Ross, as well as many foster children throughout the years. He later welcomed a son, Boe. Boe was blessed with many grandchildren: Allen, Adrianna, Aliyah, Lelonna, JeCienna, Grant Todd, Andilynn, Andrew Jr., Anneli, and Anneliese.

Boe dedicated much of his life to hard work and service. He worked for the Yankton Sioux Tribe in the Buffalo Program, the Utilities Department at the Recycling Plant, and later in Security. He also spent many years working on the farm at Robertson's Stock Farm, work he truly loved, especially on the days his kids got to join. Boe survived a battle with cancer, a true testament to his strength and resilience. Boe loved his dogs throughout his life, first Wally and later Sunka

Boe enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time outdoors. He loved working on cars-whether with help or on his own-and he felt most at peace cruising around, watching TV, or simply being with family and friends. Known for his teasing, jokes, and big personality, Boe was the life of every gathering. His presence filled a room, and his laughter carried far.

Boe leaves behind his daughter Ashley; sons: Anthony, Andrew, Ross, and Boe; Nancy; many grandchildren; and numerous relatives and friends.

He joins in the Spirit World his parents, siblings, his son Aaron, granddaughter Anneliese, and many loved ones who went before him. He will be forever missed.
