Stanley Clint Forrest, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 73 on April 2nd, 2025. He was surrounded by his family and loved ones. Stanley was born on May 29th, 1951, in Pryor, OK, to James and Ivy Forrest. He grew up in the area and attended high school in Tahlequah, OK, before furthering his education at Northeastern State University and becoming a carpenter.
Stanley was a devoted family man. He shared 37 wonderful years with his loving wife, Grace Forrest. Together, they built a life full of love, joy, and cherished memories. Stanley is also survived by his four children, Daesha Cagle, Ryan Forrest, Kendra Hunter, and Jonathan Forrest, and his five stepchildren, Robert Kinyon, Ruth Meyer, Holly Chenault, Cheryl Sharp, and John Kinyon. He was a proud grandfather and great-grandfather to many, each of whom will miss him deeply.
Stanley was known for his kind heart, his unwavering support of his family, and his love for God. His gentle spirit and infectious laugh will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing him. He touched the lives of so many, and his legacy will live on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.
A celebration of Stanley's life will be held on Saturday, April 5th, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the First Apostolic Church in Welling, OK. A graveside service will follow at New Home Cemetery in Peggs, OK. Flowers will be received by Green Country Funeral Home of Tahlequah (recommended florist A Bloom of Tahlequah).
Stanley's family would like to express their gratitude for the love and support they have received during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
