Stanley Seals Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by McKinnie Funeral Home - Crestview on Oct. 27, 2025.
Stanley was born on August 14, 1956 in Prichard, Alabama to Ford Percy Seals and Eloise Washington Seals and passed away at North Okaloosa Medical Center, Crestview, Florida on Thursday, October 23, 2025 surrounded by his loving family.
At an early age, Stanley and his parents moved to Crestview, Florida. Stanley attended Carver Hill School, Crestview, Florida. He worked with his father's logging/pulpwood business for approximately ten years. He went on to work for Tindall Enterprises for 15 years and Anderson Columbia for 15-plus years and then retired. He came out of retirement and continued to work until July 2025 after his diagnosis of colon cancer. Stanley fought a good fight. He was a very warm and generous individual with a great sense of humor. His smile and contagious laugh would radiate a room when he walked in. His children and grandchildren knew he meant business when it came to discipline, because he was very stern. Stanely will be greatly missed.
Stanley is preceded in death by his parents: Ford Percy Seals and Eloise Washington Seals; sister: Linda Seals Willams; brothers: Gregory Seals, Eddie Seals, and Ford Percy Seals, Jr., and other relatives.
Stanely is survived by his wife: Marietta Longwood Seals; Children: Dante Seals (wife-Shannon), Stanley Seals, Jr., Darius Seals, Damian Seals of Crestview, FL and Candita Seals Thompson (husband-Richard), of Tampa, FL; Brothers: Tyrone Seals, Wayne Seals, of Crestview, FL; Clifford Seals of Memphis, Tennessee; Gary Seals, and Carl Seals of Chicago, IL; Landry Seals of Jackson, Mississippi; Sister: Monica Burden, of Crestview, FL; Sister-in-law: Eva Nell Goldsmith of Crestview, FL; twenty-three grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Stanley was also blessed with a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
