Stanley R. "Stan" Snyder, born on June 17, 1964, in Puerto Rico, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2025, in Fairview, North Carolina, at the age of 61. Stanley was a dedicated Maintenance Worker with the North Carolina Public School System, where he worked diligently to ensure a safe and functional environment for students and staff.

A proud graduate of West Henderson High School, Stanley carried the values and lessons learned there throughout his life and career. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his community.

Stanley is preceded in death by his beloved mother, Betty Snyder. He is survived by his father, Reece Snyder; his sister, Teresa Colloton of Charleston, SC; and his brother, Weylin Snyder of Waynesville, NC. He also leaves behind his nephews, Devin Colloton and his wife Winter, and Clark Colloton, and one neice Rory Leighty, who will cherish his memory.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home in Hendersonville, NC. This will be a time to remember Stan's life and offer support to one another in this time of loss.

In honor of Stan's memory, donations may be made to The American Cancer Society, an organization close to the hearts of his family. Stan will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his legacy will continue in the lives of those he touched.
