Stanley Sobieski Obituary
Born in Chicago to Henry and Estelle Sobieski, he was the beloved husband of Maryanne (nee Desecki); loving father to Kimberly (Daryl Moore) and Steven (Carrie). Proud and loving grandfather to Julie (Don Randazzo), Brian (Nicole) and Kevin. Loving brother to Jane, Hank, and Helen.
Stanley and Maryanne met at a dance and have since had a beautiful 67-year marriage. They enjoyed traveling the world with a group of friends. Stanley graduated from Lewis University and proudly served in the US Navy. He was an entrepreneur who owned several successful businesses. His smile and humor could always light up the room.
A visitation and funeral mass will be held in Stanley's honor on Wednesday, July 2 nd at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 6N491 Crane Road, St. Charles. Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. with funeral mass at 10:30 A.M. Burial to immediately follow at St. Adalbert Catholic Cemetery in Niles.
