If you knew Stanley ("Stan") Timm, you knew he loved a good joke (especially the nonsensical ones), a good prank, a good book, and a good cup of coffee-always black. Born on February 24, 1939, Stan passed away on Friday, November 14th, 2025, leaving behind a lifetime of humor, curiosity and offbeat charm.
Stan spent years performing magic shows, not because he believed he was the next great Houdini-he'd laugh at the thought-but because he genuinely loved it. Even when a trick didn't land, his joy did. Watching him have fun was half the show.
As a lifelong learner, books were his home, and he read about everything from Coca-Cola's history to the lives of 19th-century circus "freak show" performers; people he related to, always feeling a bit left of center himself.
Stan embraced his quirks, laughed loudly (sometimes at the least appropriate moments), and carried a smile that could warm a room without ever seeking the spotlight. An introvert with a welcoming spirit, he made people feel at ease just by being himself.

Stan hired me many, many years ago at job center. He saw something in me and that started my career in employment. I am going to miss him. Stan was one of my most favorite supervisors and coworker/friends.

Will miss Stan´s company having coffee and breakfast with the guys. As well as the "Sub Club" with the guys and gals. Stan was a great conversationalist with a grasp on intellectual issues of the day. Condolences to Stan´s family and

I remember Stan as a friend of my husband and me!! I remember going to his magic shows and enjoying and laughing and just be amazed by his performance!! What a great guy!! He and his wife Marty had a wonderful relationship and they also had an awesome past time as they collected oddities!! He showed us their collection and it was enormous and wonderful!!
Stan will be fondly remembered!!
