Stan was preceded in death by his parents, Hope and Ray Wolfe; brother, Michael Wolfe; brother-in-law, James Davis; and an infant son.
Stan was born April 10, 1942, in Brookville, PA to Hope and Ray Wolfe. He grew up in a loving family and was the oldest of five children. He graduated from Brookville High School in 1960 and joined the Army where he served for four years. Following his service in the Army, he continued his education and earned his engineering degree from Penn State and met JoAnn.
Stan and JoAnn were married in Boyers, PA on July 15, 1967. Together they had one infant son who passed soon after birth and three wonderful daughters who were the center of their world. While the girls were growing up, Stan enjoyed watching them play soccer and other sports. He also loved the summer (driving) vacations they took each year to various places all across the US and the week every summer spent at a fishing camp with the McGinnis's.
Stan worked as a design engineer for Gannett Fleming for 40+ years. He will be remembered as being the first in the office each morning and always made sure to get the coffee started so that it was ready for his coworkers. Stan was a faithful and active member of Mt. Zion United Methodist Church since the 1970s and served in many ways, including many leadership roles on committees over the years.
Following his retirement, Stan and JoAnn kept busy traveling (many bus trips!), helping care for their grandchildren when needed, volunteering at Holy Spirit Hospital, and going to Hersheypark each summer. He very much enjoyed watching his grandchildren's many musical and sporting events and also working in his garden and caring for his blueberry and raspberry bushes.
