Starleen Rene Karen Wright

Starleen "Star" Wright, age 50, of Erie, passed away at UPMC Hamot Hospital on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 following a brief illness. She was born on May 18, 1975 in Erie, a daughter of the late George and Laureen (Shalkham) Mutch.
She enjoyed helping others and was a loving caregiver to many people. She also was a wonderful and loving mother to her four children and husband.
Star is survived by her loving husand John W. Wright, Sr.; her children, Jessica, Dominique, Jodi, and John W. Wright, Jr.; her sister, Robin Mutch; and her brother, Tracy Mutch. She is also survived by seven grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements by the John R. Orlando Funeral Home, 2122 Raspberry Street, Erie, PA 16502 will be private and at convenience of the family.
