Starlet Bell, born June 21, 1960, in Memphis, Tennessee, departed from this world on March 9, 2026, in Grand Prairie, Texas, leaving behind a legacy etched with love, dedication, and an unyielding spirit. Her life's journey was a testament to the power of compassion and the vibrancy of a soul deeply committed to faith, family, and service.

As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, Starlet's love for her job and her patients was unmistakable. Those who knew her remember the tenderness with which she approached every task, embodying dedication that transcended the ordinary. She was not merely a nurse but a beacon of hope and nurture within her profession, driven by a heart that beat for the well-being of others.

Starlet’s personality was as radiant and free-spirited as the winds that dance through the open skies. Generous beyond measure and guided steadfastly by her God-fearing Christian faith, she graced her community as a beloved children’s church teacher and mentor. Her generosity and care were felt deeply by all who crossed her path — a woman whose love knew no bounds, whose kindness left irrevocable marks on the hearts of friends, family, and strangers alike.

Fashion was yet another avenue through which Starlet expressed her vibrant spirit. Always elegantly attired, she embraced the art of self-expression with a tasteful and graceful flair, a reflection of the joy she carried within.

Her passions extended beyond her daily routines into the rich realms of the arts—especially Black heritage and history, poetry, and music. These interests were not mere hobbies but pillars that supported her identity and enriched her connection to the world and those she loved. Above all, family time was her sanctuary, a cherished treasure she held dear.

Starlet’s proudest accomplishments were her children and grandsons, the living testimonies of her love and strength. She leaves behind her devoted son, Jazzmen Tate, and loving daughter, Charlene Tate, along with adored grandsons Tyler Tate and Ashton Gentry. Her sisters Wanda Madison and Laverne Fuller continue to carry her memory forward, alongside a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends who were touched by her generous heart.

Her parents Sylvester and Mary Madison, and her siblings Charles Logan, Thaddeus Dickey, and Clementine Madison preceded her in passing, yet their memory lives on through the woman Starlet became — a remarkable tapestry woven with threads of faith, love, and a commitment to uplifting those around her.

Starlet Bell’s life was a symphony of devotion and spirit, with each note played resonating in the lives she touched. Her enduring legacy is one of warmth, resilience, and an eternal flame of hope, inspiring all who had the privilege to know her. In her memory, we celebrate a soul unbound, a life fully lived, and a love that will forever illuminate our hearts.
