Stefanina (Stefana) Carusone, 78, of Westport, Connecticut, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on November 5, 2025. Born in Formicola, Italy, Stefana brought warmth, strength, and love to everyone she met.
She married the love of her life, Fausto Carusone, on March 29, 1969, and together they raised three sons: Salvatore (Sarah), Fausto Jr. (Rachel), and Steven (Athena). She was a devoted Nonna to five grandchildren - Madeline, Eugenio, Lia, Isa, and Christian.
Stefana will be remembered for her generous spirit, her devotion to family, and the love she gave so freely.
Friends are invited to attend a funeral on Wednesday November 12, 2025 at 10:00 AM meeting directly at Assumption Church 98 Riverside Ave. Westport, CT for a mass of Christian burial, entombment will follow in Willowbrook Cemetery 395 Main St. Westport, CT. The family will receive friends in the Harding Funeral Home 210 Post Rd. E., Westport, CT on Tuesday November 11, 2025 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Melanoma Research Foundation in her memory. Condolences for the Carusone family may be left online at www.hardingfuneral.com
