Stefanie Lee Cherry, fondly known as Stef, was a vibrant soul who left an indelible mark on everyone she met. Born in Sioux City, Iowa, on February 17, 1994, Stef commanded the room with her infectious laughter and delightfully clever jokes. On December 7, 2025, she departed from this earthly realm, leaving behind a legacy filled with love, kindness, and unforgettable memories.
Stef spent her final days in Green Bay, Wisconsin, where she shared her life with her devoted fiancé, Jonathan Charles. Together, they crafted a love story that was as beautiful as it was inspiring. Jonathan's heart is undoubtedly heavy, held up by the cherished moments they shared and the profound bond they created.
In her life, Stefanie was a nurturing spirit, always ready to offer a helping hand or words of encouragement to those who needed it most. She embodied warmth, compassion, and understanding, making her a cherished daughter, sister, and friend. Her devoted mother, Nancy Cherry, her compassionate sisters, Angela Cherry and Kendra Ivey, and her loving brother, Jean Rogers, mourn the loss of their beloved Stef, along with her adorable niece, Alaya Blackmon. The love she had for her family knew no bounds, and her absence will be felt deeply by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Stefanie's joy extended beyond her family. She adored her beloved fur baby, Lilly Grace, and found enjoyment in the simple pleasures of life. Her passion for playing video games provided her with a unique avenue for connection and fun. Alongside her family, many nieces and nephews now carry the memories of her laughter and the warmth of her spirit, ensuring that Stefanie's legacy of joy continues through them.
While Stefanie has joined her father, Robert Cherry, and her grandma, Betty Stephens, in a new heavenly home, her radiant spirit remains alive in the hearts of those she touched. The loss of this remarkable young woman reminds us all of the fragility of life and the importance of uplifting one another through love and support.
As we remember Stef, let us hold onto the beautiful memories she gifted us: her ever-present laughter, the comfort she offered, and the light that she brought into our lives. Stefanie Lee Cherry will forever be remembered not just for who she was, but for the profound love and warmth she spread during her time with us.
