Stella Evelyn Borneman

On Monday, March 2nd our sweet Stella was flown to Marshfield Children's Hospital and given the highest level of care from an extraordinary medical team. Despite their dedicated efforts, the complications were too great to overcome. Sweet Stella wrapped in her parents' loving arms passed peacefully in the early evening of March 6, 2026.

Stella came into this world with beautiful red hair on November 25, 2025 in Wausau, to parents, Matthew and Trina (Woiak) Borneman and big brother, Cooper. She was baptized into God's family by grace on January 3 at Peace Lutheran Church in Antigo. Her godparents are Zach Woiak and Rachel Galland.

In addition to her parents and brother she will be deeply missed by maternal grandparents, Phil and Kim Woiak of Nekoosa; paternal grandparents, Pat and Pam Borneman of Suring; great-grandparents, Kenny and Char Linzmeier of Nekoosa, Gus Woiak of Nekoosa, and Dan Borneman of Antigo; aunts and uncles, Zeb (Allicen) Woiak of Sparta; Zach (Erin) Woiak of Sparta, Sarah Bosch of Fort Atkinson, Rachel (John) Galland of Gresham; cousins, Zeke and Tucker Woiak, Emmy Woiak, Natalie (Tyler) Daehn and their daughter, Audrey, Brogan Bosch, and Andrew Galland.

She was preceded in death by great-grandparents, Evelyn Woiak, DeLores Borneman and Gene and Pat Kluwe.

Stella's 101 days of life will be honored and all ages are encouraged to attend on Friday, March 13 at 12 p.m. at Peace Lutheran Church with Reverend Jared Fenske officiating. A special children's message will be given during the service.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 12 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Bradley Funeral Home and again on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until the 12 p.m. service at the church

In lieu of flowers memorials in Stella's name may be directed to the Child Life Program at Marshfield Hospital or the Ronald McDonald House.
