Obituary of Stella Cullumber
Stella Erlinda Franco Cullumber left this world to be with the Lord on July 11, 2024, in Hollister, CA at the age of 88 years.
Stella was born on November 15, 1935 to Jose and Mary Franco in Loyalton, CA. While in Loyalton, she met her future husband, William (Alan) Cullumber. They returned to San Juan Bautista (Where Alan was born and raised) in 1956 to start their lives and family. They raised three daughters and a son there.
Alan passed away in 2001 after many years of care from Stella as he suffered from Parkinson's Disease.
Stella filled her days spending time with her family. She loved her home that Alan built for her. She started an in-home daycare business and raised many children from San Benito County. She loved clothes, costumes, cats, and karaoke. She loved to cook and bake and spend time in her garden. Stella was vivacious and quite the character. She loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren as Stella was truly a kid at heart.
She is survived by her children Cynthia (Ronnie) Morgan, Charlotte (George) Netto, Carolyn (Jason) Noble, Alan (Terry) Cullumber, 9 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.
The family wishes to express their gratitude to the nurses and staff of Mabie Northside Skilled Nursing. They provided love and the utmost care for Stella. They truly became her extended family, and she loved them all.
A celebration of life will be held in September.
