Stella Louise Estes, age 72, passed away on Friday, November 14, 2025, at Marcum Wallace Hospital in Irvine, Kentucky. She was born on Thursday, October 1, 1953, to the late Gene Vinson and the late Margie Pasley Vinson. Stella was a dedicated factory worker at Powell Manufacturing and OHI America. Outside of work, her heart thrived on the sound of music, which filled her home with warmth. Writing, especially poetry, was a profound passion for Stella; she found solace and self-expression in the dance of words on the page. She loved to engage in conversations, drawn to the stories of others, always eager to share her own in return. Stella cherished moments spent playing with her grandchildren, their laughter echoing through the house and bringing her immeasurable joy. She would often sit on the porch with her late husband, watching the world go by as they shared stories and dreams. With her outgoing nature, Stella relished the company of her family, thriving in the love and connection they shared. Her generous spirit meant she would go out of her way to lend a helping hand, always putting the needs of others before her own. In every aspect of her life, Stella embodied warmth, kindness, and an unwavering dedication to those she loved. In addition to her parents, Stella is preceded in death by her husband, Buford Andrew "Andy" Estes, and one sister, Rose Vinson. She is survived by one son, John William Estes; two daughters, Christy Dotson, and Chasta (Jeremy) Davis, both of Clay City; one brother, David Vinson; one sister, Jean Kurdys, of Buffalo, New York; eight grandchildren: Lora Hill, Andrea Hartley, Margie Dotson, Drew Davis, Jaxon Davis, Amanda Trent, Madison Wireman, and Johnny Ray Estes; and several great-grandchildren.
