Stella V. (Deneen) Sigler

My prayers go out to you and your family for your loss. She was a good person and I will miss her. I too graduated from Middletown in 1978.She will be missed.

I graduated in 1978. Mrs Sigler was wonderful and always had a pleasant greeting when I stopped by the office. I think I was late to school 2-3 times per week my senior year. I believe she may have been the one who accepted my notes and possibly wrote my late slip to go to class late. She probably knew all my late excuses were not written buy doctors or parents but she cheerfully processed me each day and we had pleasant conversations when I waited in the lobby for her to give me a late slip or when the gig was up she was empathetic as I sat in the office waiting for my asst principle meetings.
I feel bad about trying to dupe the system but I knew it was not offensive to her or I wouldn't have done it I think.

My point is I got to know her better than most students and I have very fond memories of her and our conversations.

We love you and miss you Stella
