Still thinking about you often, Steph !!
So grateful to have gotten to be a kid with a grown-up friend like you. Sometimes I notice bits and pieces of you in my adult self and it makes me feel so grounded, and proud.
Was talking with my therapist today about how I so look forward to being a Stephanie to a kid in my neighborhood / life one day : D
It made such a difference.

Steph,
Word is just getting to me now. If you only knew how much I loved you in life. For over forty years.
But you do now.
Love,

Dear Steph...Linden Hills Boulevard without the Boddy's...it doesn't seem possible. How lucky we were to have you as a neighbor...thanks for loving our kids..especially Jacob who needed your love most of all. We'll make sure the Boulevard has the Boddy spirit forever.

I miss you already, Steph. Your great big laugh, your kind heart, your wonderful way with all the kids in the neighborhood. You were a special lady who left us way too soon.

Steph,
You didn't need a long life to show how special you were. Your spirit will live on forever on the boulevard and your energy and smile will be missed. Tell Grandma Evie I say hello.

We are so sorry to hear of Stephanie's death. All the Boddys, parents & kids are friends--Pat went to school with Sue, and we miss Evvie! Did not know Steph had been ill. Love to Sue, Sarah, Sherry, Billy. We'll be in touch.

I was so saddened to read about Stephanies passing. The last time I saw her was many years ago at the all-school reunion. Sara & I were classmates in junior high & I got to know Stephanie then. I always admired her. My heart goes out to her family. Her spirit is still with you.

I have so many wonderful memories of my great friend Steph. The first time we met I was riding my bike around Lk Harriet and had recognized Steph from Southwest HS. I said hi and she asked if I wanted to share her popcorn. Well, it turned out to be a stale box of popcorn!! And so a friendship began. We had lots of great times in high school, college and the next twenty years or so. We may have drifted apart but she was never forgotten.
I will miss her smiling face and the way she could imitate Donald Duck. I will miss her at our 40th reunion this year but we will be thinking of her.
I am so thankful that I visited with her only a few weeks ago and we talked about old times.
Until we meet again.

Steph was such a groovy gal! What a tremendous outlook on life she had despite what she was going through. Steph always had a smile and something funny to say. I am truly honored to have known a woman like her. Stephanie is truly unforgettable.

To Stephs friends and family,
What a tough loss of such a wonderful person! Steph always had a smile when I saw her. I first meet Steph when I was 16 yrs old playing softball for Macnamaras bar. Peg and I got to sit in the bar and drink beer with the rest of the team. We thought we were so cool! What fun we all had throughout the years and what a great friendship we all had with Steph, no matter if we saw each other once in a while, it was like we had just seen each other yesterday. Steph will always be one of those awesome people that came into my life and really made a difference. And thank you guys for taking care of her--Holly, Peg, Marilyn--everyone else who was there for her---you couldn't ask for better friends than you all.
I love you, Steph!
Always,
Jon Quirt

Stephanie, I saw your photograph in the obituaries today. How could I mistake that wonderful smile and that dear face I used to see almost every day in the Linden Hills village? I knew you went to live with family months ago, moved down the Boulevard, but I never knew you were ill, and you never spoke about your sorrows, and now I have lost someone I liked so much. The news is so sudden, but I am so glad to know you were surrounded by those you loved who loved you at the end. I will make a donation to a Humane Society, somehow I think that would please you. Wherever you have flown to, Angels will be with you. -Deborah

Steph, my dear high school friend, what a shock! We only got to one SWHS breakfast club, but it was so much fun. I have thought of you periodically over the years and have looked forward to seeing you at HS reunions. The idea of not seeing you at the 40th this year is more than just an emotional loss. I am so glad you got to choose and live the life you wanted. You will be in my prayers and thoughts always.
