Stephanie Sue Maddix

Stephanie Sue Maddix, age 52, of Cleves, Ohio died Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Mercy West Hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio following a lengthy illness.

Born February 14, 1973 in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of Floyd W. & Carolyn (Byrd) Maddix.

She was a member of the Oak Forest Church of Christ.

Stephanie worked as a medical biller for many years. In her leisure time she enjoyed jewelry making, and had her own business, Sassy's Jewelry. She also cherished time spent with her family, especially her nieces & great nephew. She was an active participant in the Ohio Renaissance Festival each year.

Survivors include her mother, Carolyn Maddix of Cleves, Ohio; a sister, Sandra Acree of North Bend, Ohio; three nieces, Hannah (Joe) Scolf, Danielle Acree, Jessica Acree; one great-nephew, Jackson Acree; as well as several aunts, uncles and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her father, Floyd W. Maddix who died May 12, 2024; her maternal grandparents, Claude & Lita Byrd; and her paternal grandparents, James Maddix & Rose Harding.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 7, 2026 at Maple Grove Cemetery in Brookville, Indiana.
