Earlier today, I connected with a Knox College grad who I have not spoken with since graduation and during that conversation he mentioned that Stephanie had passed away. I was so sad to hear this news that I looked up her obituary. Stephanie was a couple of years junior to me at Knox, and I met her through one of my close friends--as they were suitemates. I was immediately drawn to Stephanie's sincere character and her warm personality. Stephanie had a beautiful smile that radiated the best of humanity. Sincere condolences to her family.

Very sad to hear about Stephanie's passing. May she rest in eternal peace and her beautiful soul surrounded by love and light. I got to know Stephanie at Knox College. She always radiated sunshine. Remembering her kindness, it felt right to give a donation in her name to a food bank here in Toronto. Heartfelt condolences to Stephanie's parents and family.

Stephanie, who I met as a student at Knox College, was one of the kindest people I´ve ever known, the sort that left most others far back in her inexhaustible dust of gentility, generosity, and grace. I never saw her not smiling, and her face was always so emotive, with intuitive winks and expressions speaking volumes.
As so well known, she was kind to strangers and welcomed those who came from afar. Her passing is especially shattering at this moment, when we see so much cruelty towards people who have come to the US to seek better lives, including to her home state, and when she was dedicated to making people feel comfort. She was what a person should be, if one is meant to make the world better despite (and sometimes because of) the many challenges they face themselves.
