Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, P.A. - SykesvilleStephanie Marie Simmons, of Littlestown, Pennsylvania, peacefully passed away on December 24, 2025, at Select Specialty Hospital – York, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on April 2, 1968, in Olney, Maryland, and was the cherished daughter of the late Paul Reginald Simmons, Jr., and the late Carolyn Marie Simmons.
A family-oriented individual, Stephanie's heart was filled with boundless love for her children and grandchildren—her greatest treasures. She exemplified love, compassion, and kindness in her roles as a mother, sister, aunt, and grandmother, enriching the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
She is survived by her siblings, Edward and Debi Simmons of Williamsport, Maryland, and Paul and Wendy Simmons of Hanover, Pennsylvania; her children—Tiffanie Laws of York, Pennsylvania; Ashley Jankiewicz of Glen Burnie, Maryland; Mariah Laws of Arbutus, Maryland; and Jon Laws of Finksburg, Maryland; as well as twelve treasured grandchildren. She also leaves behind numerous other beloved family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved daughter, Angelina Danielle Laws, and her brother, Tracy Simmons. Stephanie's memory will serve as a symbol of love, strength, and compassion.
Gathering of family and friends will be on Sunday, January 4, 2026, from 10:00 am-12:00 Noon at Burrier-Queen Funeral Home & Crematory, PA., 1212 W. Old Liberty Road, Sykesville, MD 21784 (Beside South Carroll High School).
