Stephanie "Stella" Wasicki

Stephanie “Stella” Wasicki, 104, of Middletown, wife of the late John Wasicki, died Monday March 16, 2026 at Middlesex Hospital. She was the daughter of the late Vincent and Anelia (Bula) Bruderek.

She is survived by her two sons, John Wasicki of Vernon and Robert Wasicki of East Haddam; also several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Mary Langer, Theresa Kusmierski, Helen Laskey, Lottie Broderick, Sophie Kapinos, and Nellie Buckie; brothers, Vincent Broderick and Stanley Broderick.

Her Funeral Liturgy will be held on Wednesday (Mar. 25th) at 10:30 a.m. at St. Pius X Church, 310 Westfield St., Middletown.  Burial will be in the CT State Veterans’ Cemetery, Middletown.  Friends may call at Biega Funeral Home, 3 Silver St., Middletown on Tuesday (Mar. 24th) from 4 to 6 p.m. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to St. Pius X Church, 310 Westfield St., Middletown, CT 06457.
