Stephanie Ann Venturella, born on March 6, 1964, in St. Louis, Missouri, was a radiant soul who brightened the lives of many. She left this world on March 1, 2025, after a courageous five-year battle with ovarian cancer, surrounded by the love and comfort of those she cherished.
Stephanie is survived by her beloved mother, Jeanne Venturella; her devoted sister, Gina Thomas, and her brother-in-law, Mark Thomas; her loving brother, Vincent Venturella (Debra Meeks); her cherished nephew, Matthew Thomas; her dear niece, Tara Thomas (Sean Douglas); and her caring and supportive partner, Paul Mann, along with his sons, Nick and Alex Mann. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit within their hearts, a testament to the love she so freely gave.
She was preceded in death by her father, Joseph Venturella, whose memory she honored with the light she brought into the world.
Stephanie's career was marked by her exceptional ability to forge meaningful relationships. For 15 wonderful years she worked at Washington University as an administrative assistant in the physical therapy program. It was here that her kindness and dedication shone brightest, earning her the love and admiration of her coworkers and all of her students. She had a beautiful gift to connect with everyone she met.
An uncommonly kind woman, she had a beauty that was not just reflected on the outside but also in the depths of her generous heart. She had a remarkable ability to put others before herself. Her vibrant spirit and infectious laugh instilled positivity in any room she entered, creating an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance that will be profoundly missed.
Holidays held a special significance for Stephanie; she had a unique talent for making each gathering a cherished memory, always ensuring that everyone felt included and joyful. She loved celebrating year round and never missed the local parades like Mardi Gras and St. Patrick's Day. Stephanie was always on-the-go. Whether she was at concerts, taking weekend trips, or enjoying a nice walk with her dogs Max, Luna, and Sophia, Stephanie had an adventurous spirit and lived each day to the fullest. With an eye for fashion, her unique style complemented her lively personality, making her presence even more captivating. She loved to decorate her home and made many beautiful wreath assortments for every occasion.
Stephanie’s passing leaves a void that will be deeply felt. In our hearts, Steph will always be known as a cherished friend, an extraordinary sister, a loving partner, and a daughter whose kindness knew no bounds. As friends and family remember Stephanie, they do so with gratitude for the time they shared with her—a time filled with laughter, love, and inspiring moments that will forever be etched in their hearts. Stephanie’s legacy is one of love, kindness, and a vibrant spirit that touched the lives of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
