Steve was a member of Bethlehem United Methodist Church for over 40 years and for the majority of the time served as a church trustee. He was a member of the East Side Sertoma Club and of the MIBOR. Steve loved anything involving water, like fishing and boating, and enjoyed hunting. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carol Carley; son, Cliff (Angie) Carley; daughter, Carri (Garrett) Hunter; grandchildren, Danielle (Zach) Carley-Parker, Clayton (Amanda) Carley, Carley Hunter, and Brenna Hunter; great-grandchildren, Brody Parker, Hailey Mumaw, Hadlee Parker, and Lyla Carley; and brother, Dave Carley.
