Hello. I just learned of Steve's passing and wanted to let you know that he was one of the best people I have met in business. He was honest and forthright and a true professional. He was easy in his friendship and a great deal of fun. His family meant everything to him. You just knew he was over the moon that you were a family - crazy about his wife. Teh whole sphere was meaningful to him including the pets, the dog or cat. I will remember going down to Long Island Sound to check on the boat and to listen to the fishing story du jour. A sad day indeed for all who knew him,but also, a reminder that there is a great deal of goodness out there.

Dear Debbie,
Robin & I wish to extend our heartfelt condolences over the loss of Steve. He was an absolute prince and an outstanding leader.

When Steve & I were introduced to each other at Mellon in 1988, he instantly became one of my buds',even though he was on the other side of the negotiating/approval table from me. His insight and humor elevated my performance. When we found ourselves working side-by-side at Shawmut, the rapport was the best.

Again, please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Love,

robin & Jo Keeler
