Stephen Armand Coycault Sr.
Age 89 of Pasadena, TX passed away November 24, 2022 on Thanksgiving Day.
Steve was born on August 31, 1933 in New Orleans, Louisiana at Mercy Hospital to Armand P Coycault and Ethel M. Rodriguez.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sister, Iris 2 children William Coycault who was Elizabeth's twin and Robert Leslie Coycault. Also the family dog, Prince then Princess.
He is survived by his daughter Elizabeth Ann Coycault and Son Stephen A. Coycault Jr.
He was married to Marilyn Pazos Coycault for 64 years. She was the best Mom ever, the love of his life. He was a devoted husband, great provider and dad. He was always determined and hard working in all that he did. He was a challenger who never dropped the ball and always followed through.
He was a believer in character, morals, and values he will be missed there will be big shoes to fill he wore a size 13.
He went to school at St Aloysius Brother Martin in New Orleans, La. graduated in 1951.
In New Orleans, LA he sold insurance door to door. My mom sent him with an allowance that he gave to customers to their bill. That job did not last long.
We came to Pasadena Tx in 1964 where he worked at International Paint Co, then Texas Marine. Followed by 20 years of non-paid volunteer work.
This is the celebration of his life.
He was past President of the Propeller Club, Port of Houston Marine Services Association of Houston, Texas Silver-Haired Legislator for 8 terms. AARP Tax Aide, Did Fraud and VA meetings at Pasadena, TX, Senior Center Madison JOBE, Area Agency on aging, which did Meals on Wheels, through Salvation Army, Proud members of Church of Christ, Watters Rd., Sunshiners, Classic Car Member with Pasadena Chamber of Commerce, worked with Pasadena, Deer Park and La Porte Counsel, Pasadena Police, Precinct 2, supported Honor Flight.
Air Force Veteran for 4 years. Served on a ARB36 Bomber, led combat crew as an aerial photographer, 12 cameras. He was a Korean vet, Master Mason, Member of Anson Jones Lodge 1416 Friendswood, TX.
