Here it is 6 years later and we still talk about you all the time. You are greatly missed my brother. You changed my life and for that I will be forever grateful.....

Pops, Phin & Crash, the three muskateers. We rode America from coast to coast and border to border and there was never 3 who fit more perfectly together. We will continue to miss you Pops, every single mile that we ride...

Here is the quintessential picture of "Pops", astride his tribute bike - the "Yama-chopper". Proudly carrying the colors of our country in support of an event to raise money for the families of fallen service members.
This is how I will always remember him.

When someone we love falls asleep in death the memories we have of them become our treasure may those treasures of a life well lived bring comfort to you during this difficult time I am so sorry for your loss

I never called him Steve, I knew him as Pops and that will always be his name to me. I have only known him about 3 years, but I am grateful for the little time we shared. My sincerest condolences to his family, friends and anyone else he touched in his life. He was a remarkable man, I see many rides in the future for the Black Sheep to be done in his name. -Eric Gates, Member ALR Chapter 31

Pops was one of the most decent men I've ever had the honor of calling my friend. He will be greatly missied among the Black Sheep American Legion Riders of Post 31....R.I.P. my brother
