Diesel, It was a privilege to hold your glasses when you fought David Dawson every morning before the school bus came. You showed your engineering prowess early when you showed us how to hang a bag of rocks from a tree and use fishing line as the trip mechanism to drop the rocks on the bus. It was fun to use the rest of the line from Mammoth Mart to ring Mel Entin's bell from way out in the woods. Oh, but what a man you became and what a beautiful tribute this was. I really wish I had known you as an adult as you were always brilliant when you were younger and I can only imagine what maturity added.
