I served as Steve's chief of staff from 2000 to 2003, Steve was such a wise mentor in my life even after 20 years.
I remember his wisdom about worrying about problems only when they appear and not before.
He will be remembered as long as I live.
My sincere condolences to Ardie and the kids.

Steve was a very good boss to our daughter, while we lived in the Lexington area. He always kept a very clean pharmacy and we enjoyed shopping there. He surely will be missed. Kent $ Chris Bacon

Representative Steven Ehardt was an outstanding legislator whose opinions were valued and respected by his colleagues. He was a great friend to the people of Michigan, but most importantly a loving husband and father. You will be missed missed big man, rest in peace.
