Stephen Eric "Slick" Everwine

Stephen Eric Everwine, better known to some as “Slick”, age 55, of Bear Creek North Carolina, passed away on July 5th, 2025, at his residence.

Stephen is preceded in death by “the love of his life”, Julia Beal; granddaughter, Scarlet Rose Williams; and grandparents, Daniel Sr. and Blanche Everwine.

Stephen is survived by his 2 children, Stephen “Eric” Everwine, Jr. and Stephanie Everwine; and two grandchildren, Stephen Anthony Everwine and James Lyn Webster; stepson, Dustin Beal; mother, Wanda Burgess; father, Daniel Everwine, Jr. and wife, Renee; five brothers, Daniel Everwine, III, David Everwine and his wife, Mary, Thomas Everwine, Jason Everwine and his wife, Brandy, and Michael Everwine; and numerous nieces and nephews all of Siler City.

Stephen loved spending time with family at the lake and the beach, tinkering with “old” chevy trucks, and spending time with his beloved dog, “Remington”. He loved good food and “avoiding” work, when possible, therefore the name AKA “Slick”.

Stephen was loved by everyone, and we shall surely miss him and cherish his memory.

A private memorial service for the family will be held at a later date.
