I played football against Fab in high school. His team kicked our butts!
I worked at His Father's store in Lansing for a short time.
I roomed with Him at CMU for a year. At least I think we both made it that long living in the 'Zoo' dorm.
Even though we never continued a relationship past college days, I have thought about Him often over the years. Hard not to with all the success of His local business adventures. Always admired His work ethic and spontaneity. Enjoyed our short time of experiences. Always thought Steve would live forever because when I knew Him, He had a love for life and the immense energy and passion to create a good one.
Just learned of His passing from a friend tonight at a sporting event.
Incredibly shocked. Unaware of His recent health battle.
NO DOUBT He will be missed immensely by His Family and Friends.
My condolences, especially to Cindy.

My condolences to Steve's family. We grew up as neighbors on the West side of Lansing and our dads were grocery store owners in the city of Lansing when we were young. I have fond memories of our early days when we all went to Holy Cross Church and school. May he rest in peace.
