Age 67, of Kalamazoo passed away at his home on November 9, 2024. He was born in Kalamazoo on April 19, 1957, the son of the late Menso and Mary (Mortensen) Geer. Steve was kind, loving and generous. He had an outgoing personality and lived life to the fullest. He grew up in Kalamazoo and after high school enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps where he served until being honorably discharged. Above all Steve loved his family; he leaves behind wonderful memories and his smile and laughter will be missed. He is survived by his children, Brock (Teri) Geer, Brooke (Jon) Dawson, Brian Landrum, Bradley (Racheal) Landrum, Brittany (Gregory) Sandifer; seventeen grandchildren; one great-grandson; many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was also preceded in passing by a sister, Louann Geer.

Mary Lue and family, please accept my deepest condolences for your loss of Stephen. In the fifty-plus years I knew him he was always kind and friendly to everyone he met. He was a treasure to his immediate and extended family, frequently putting their needs ahead of his. He will be missed by many and remembered by all.
