It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Stephen M. Grant on April 24, 2025, at the age of 72. Stephen was born on October 16, 1952, in Cincinnati, OH to the late Alex and Catherine (nee Hartman) Grant. Resident of Goshen township.
Stephen was a proud Veteran and served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps. Stephen served honorably during the tumultuous Vietnam War. His courage and commitment to service were hallmarks of his character, and he carried his experiences with pride throughout his life.
Stephen was a skilled iron worker and he put his craftsmanship and strength to work for many years. He was passionate about his trade, often found welding or working on cars in his free time. He enjoyed the thrill of riding motorcycles and had a keen interest in firearms, taking joy in shooting, maintaining his collection, and teaching his sons the skills he cherished.
Stephen is survived by his four sons Jason (Sandy) Grant, Aaron (Jennifer) Grant, Jarrod Grant, and Adam Grant; Grandfather of seven; Great- grandfather of 1. Brother of Sandy Maddux, Pat Bodnar, Joseph Grant, Mary Helen Dangerfield, Greg Grant, Peter Grant, John Grant, Terry Bryson, Gerry Dryden, Robert Grant, Douglas Grant and is preceded in death by four siblings; Georgeann Kennedy, Norbert Grant, Alex Grant, and Cathy Grant.
