Stephen Gunnarsson Obituary
Stephen Scott Gunnarsson, age 71, of Glen Arm, Maryland, passed away on January 3, 2026. Stephen was the son of Hugo Manfred Gunnarsson (Malmö, Sweden) and Grace Hazel Cooley (Gage, Oklahoma).
Stephen is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Mary Frances Gunnarsson (née Wright); his devoted sons, Stephen Michael Gunnarsson (Megan), Danial Louis Gunnarsson (Allison), Jeffrey Manfred Gunnarsson (Melanie) and Scott Andrew Gunnarsson; cherished grandfather of MacKenzie, Evelyn, Julia, Zoe, Ryan and Garrett; brother of Norman Gunnarsson and Sandra Thielz.
Visiting at the E.F. Lassahn Funeral Home, P.A., 11750 Belair Road (Kingsville), on Friday, January 9, 2026, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and Saturday, January 10, 2026, from 12 noon to 2 pm. A memorial service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Project.
