As someone who married into his extended family, and didn´t get to see each other often enough, Uncle Steve was always welcoming and engaging. He made me feel important and genuinely wanted to know about my life and my children´s lives. He cared deeply about each of us and had an incredible ability to stay connected to his large family-brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and all their children. He was truly the glue of the family, someone special who touched my life profoundly. His character and the way he lived will always be remembered. He will be missed dearly. Sending much love and prayers to the Hart family from Miami.

Sending love to the family at this sad time. My first memory was seeing my cousin in a bassinet on St. Paul Blvd. What a fine man he became.

What an incredibly generous and genuine soul. Steve cared for our family as if it were his own. He will be deeply missed by all that knew him and remember as the honorable human being he was.
