Stephen Henderson Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Dial & Dudley Funeral Home - Bryant on Dec. 11, 2025.
Stephen "Steve-O" Henderson, age 37, of Paron, passed away on Sunday, December 7, 2025. He was born on July 2, 1988, in Little Rock, Arkansas. Stephen was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend. He worked as an operations site manager for American Tower.

Stephen is survived by his wife, Samantha Henderson; his son, Gavin Henderson; his sisters, Katlyn Henderson Nelson (Andrew) of Benton, and Jane Henderson Burnham (Chase) of St. Louis.

He was preceded in death by his father, David Henderson, and his mother, Karen Henderson, as well as his grandparents, Orville and Carnell Henderson, Bass, and Donna McDade.

At 18 years old, Stephen joined the United States Army, where he served as a Parachute Rigger and rose to the rank of Specialist. He served honorably for just under three years of active duty, earning the Parachute Rigger Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, and Parachutist Badge. During his military service, he met the love of his life, Samantha, and formed lifelong friendships. His family takes great pride in the bravery and strength that made it possible for him to serve as Airborne.

Stephen will always be remembered for his big heart and warm laugh. He was always eager to help those he loved and happy to be the life of the party. He was an avid outdoorsman who found joy in hunting and fishing. His memory will live on through the passion for fishing that he inspired in his son, Gavin.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at Dial and Dudley Funeral Home at 12:00 P.M. followed by graveside services at 1:30 P.M. at New Rosemont Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest beside his parents.
