On February 21, 2020, Stephen Samuel Kelly received his heavenly promotion.

Steve was born March 8, 1989 and spent his early years in Memphis, Tennessee before moving to the Nashville area in 1993. He graduated from Franklin Christian Academy in 2008 and attended one year of college at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC).

Steve is preceded in death by his precious daughter Noelle Rory Wolfe and by his beloved grandfathers Noel M. Kelly and Samuel R. Pritchard. Steve did not get to meet his heavenly grandmother Jessie Bama Kelly on earth, but he is now in her arms.

This young man is survived by his parents Tim and Patti Kelly and his birth mother Katrina Greer; grandfather Thomas J. Neff; loving grandmothers Jeanne Pritchard, Rosemary Neff, and Dorothy Pattinson. Steve was blessed in his earthly life with many aunts, uncles, and cousins who knew him and loved him over the years.

Well known to be determined, loving, nurturing, and caring, Steve embraced life. His activities and hobbies included AA Recovery, action movies, sports, reading, camping, and history. Steve had a passion for anything with fur and a particular devotion to cats. The love of his life being a black feral cat named Sid who will always miss the man who first gave him a home, food, and love after three weeks of patient coaching.

Steve was fortunate to have had many influential people close to him in his life, such as, Aunt Lynn Lee, Uncle Bill Lee, Clint Parrish, Matthew Sells, Stephen Sells, Eric Allred, Hugh Harris, Lisa Harris, Gordan, Brett, Bob, Joey, Jack, Rodney, Zach and Burgess.

The Smokey Mountain National Park, Tinkerbell Park, Edwin-Warner Park, Destin, FL and the Space Needle in Seattle, WA, were all places that were special to Steve.

Friends and family members will gather on the day that would have been Steve's 31st birthday at Harpeth Hills Pavilion for a Celebration of his Life on Sunday, March 8th beginning at 2:00 p.m.
