Stephen Kondratick Jr., 84, of Exeter, passed away on Friday, Sept. 26, 2025, at Allied Services Hospice Center, Wilkes-Barre.
Stephen was born in Wilkes-Barre to the late Stephen and Helen Matiska Kondratick. He graduated from Coughlin High School in 1958 and went on to enlist in the United States Army Reserves, where he served for eight years. He started his 36-year career in banking and then worked for another 10 years for the U.S. Post Office.
In addition to his parents, Stephen was predeceased by his son, Stephen.
Stephen is survived by his beloved wife, Maribeth Gates Kondratick; children, Karen Nowak (Robert) and Paul Kondratick; and brother, John Kondratick. He will be missed by his grandchildren, Justin and Stephanie Palovchak and Janelle and Lily Kondratick.
A Mass of Christian Burial for Stephen will be held at 11 a.m. Monday in St. Anthony of Padua Church of Corpus Christi Parish, 224 Memorial St., Exeter.
Relatives and friends are invited to call from 9:30 a.m. to service time Monday in St. Anthony of Padua Church of Corpus Christi Parish.
Interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
Services are entrusted to Metcalfe Shaver Kopcza Funeral Home Inc., 504 Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
