Stephen Lafontaine Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Quinn Funeral Home - Warwick on Jan. 2, 2026.
Stephen "Beef" Lafontaine, 67, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 with his loving family by his side. He was the devoted husband of Brenda (Jordan) Lafontaine for 46 wonderful years. Born in Warwick to Claire (Higham) Lafontaine and William Lafontaine, Stephen is survived by his loving children, Steven Lafontaine and Erika Osko with her husband Marc; as well as his cherished grandson Leo Osko and brother William Lafontaine. Stephen is predeceased by his two brothers Brian and Phillip Lafontaine.
A lifelong resident of Rhode Island, Stephen had a passion for automobiles, especially hotrods, which lived at the heart of his career in the automotive industry. He was a lover of music, which he shared with his family, relished the peaceful time spent tending to his garden at home, and thoroughly enjoyed football season when he could cheer on his beloved Dallas Cowboys, as well as the New England Patriots. Above all, he loved and cherished his family and friends who will all miss him dearly.
There will be no services scheduled at this time. His family kindly asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations in Stephen's memory be made to the American Cancer Society by visiting the following webpage: https://donate.cancer.org/, OR to the CMT Research Foundation by visiting www.cmtrf.org/donate.
