Stephen R. "Steve" McClure

My deepest sympathy to the McClure family for your loss of such a wonderful man. We shared a huge love for Dodger baseball. During Steve´s announcing days at Southport High School the excitement of announcing his alma mater was always in his voice. He shared many personal Cardinal memories with me that I will always cherish. Steve exemplified "Once a Cardinal Always a Cardinal." Peace be with you Steve.

What a beautiful tribute to Steve in his obituary. He was a great guy and the two of you, a great couple. We are praying for your comfort and strength.

For nearly 20 years I worked with Steve at either the Daily Journal, Franklin College football and basketball games or any variety of local prep sporting events.

Steve was a great colleague but an even greater person and friend. He will be sorely missed by all.
