I knew Steve through his sister who has been my freind since junior high days. We were a few years behind him at Nicholls, and he the "older brother!" I'm so sorry they lost him to Katrina.

Steve loved to have fun and party . He WAS the life of the party and is sadly missed by friends and family. He always came to my rescue when my air went out and I could't afford a new one.

His daughter Jennifer whom he loved so much is now with her Dad. Hope they are in peace and with the Father Almighty in heaven, where there is neither pain nor sorrow, but only happiness & joy. We miss your laughter and smile. Your friends Geri & Richard Hughes

Steve and I have been friends since F.T. Nicholls High School. I graduated and we parted ways just to become best friends in our 50's. The last time I saw Steve was at the Nichols 60's reunion in Chalmette. He was the usual crazy Steve, dancing the night away. He was a wonderful friend who will be sadly missed.

Our family was deeply sadden to learn of Steve's death. We have fond memories of him and his family, which we considered as family when they were our neighbors in New Orleans. I remember Steve's quick wit, savvy nature, energtic personality and his smile. May Steve's smile continue to shine brightly over his family during this difficult time. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

I'm sure Steve is sadly missed by his family. I am an old friend, I was a neighbor when we were young teens and went to high school with him. I will always remember him fondly.
