I met Steve while at UD, and the first words I remember associating with him are 'friendly' and 'smiling.' I remember him as a thoughtful, friendly, person with a great sense of humor who was also a talented artist. Seeing the development of Superchum over the years as a simple audience member, I think it is a fitting anchor to his legacy as a person and an artist. I'll miss him.

I met Steve on 1992 when he was a freshman and lived on my floor in Rodney Hall A... Steve was an avid comic book and science fiction fan who drew his own comic Superchum which started as a daily strip in the UD paper the review and later was published as a comic book and on line... I still have my signed copy of superchum #1 that Steve gave me when he published his first comic book... even after graduting i continued to keep in contact with steve though our friend Jack and we did many things over the years all of us...we went to the small press expo in Bethesda maryland or when I would go visit my friends in DE would slways see strvd jack and all my friends... Steve was always a friendly face, an easy going person to talk to and someone I considered a hood friend... he will be sorely missed.... my sincere sympathy and condolences to his family and friends during this difficult time

Steve was such a talented artist and I also counted him as a friend when we both were employed at The Reporter newspaper in Lansdale. He always was smiling and ready to take on any assignment. I´ll never forget this great guy.
