Stephen F. O'Meara

Stephen F. O'Meara, 79, of Arlington, MA, passed away peacefully on December 24th, 2025, after a valiant battle with cancer.

Stephen was born on November 19th, 1946, in Cambridge, MA to Francis and Irene (Mathews) O'Meara. Stephen was predeceased by his parents, his sister Penny and her husband, Edward Lepsevich, and his nephew, Marc F. Anderson. He is survived by his sister Ruth O'Meara, daughter Kelley Constantine and her husband, Troy, daughter Amy Walsh and her husband, Patrick, and five grandchildren, Grace, Maggie, Stephen, Billy, and Ryan, as well as many nieces and friends. He also leaves behind his companion and wife, Brenda Perrault, with whom he enjoyed spending time in his later years.

Stephen was an accomplished and proud plumber who thrived on teaching others his craft. He enjoyed his time on the job and the brotherhood of his coworkers. When he wasn't on a job site, you could find him at a rink, on a field, or in an auditorium watching his grandchildren compete and perform.

A funeral mass will be held on Friday, January 2nd, 2026, at 11:30 AM at Saint Agnes Church, 32 Medford Street, Arlington, MA. Please go directly to the church. Interment will be private.
