Just learned of Steve's passing. Have great memories of his first 2 years at Baylor as a teammate in touch foitball, basketball, and as my golf partner against guys down our Kokernot Hall.
He was a good friend, always ready to help and always smiling.
Blessings on his family. We know he rests with Jesus.

I m deeply saddened to hear of Steve´s passing. He and I worked together years ago and I have such great memories of those times and of him. We always kept in touch over the years. I admired and respected him very much. We lost a good one. Prayers are with you. JB Hewell

It was an honor to know Mr. Pierson and to fight at his side during his courageous battle against cancer. My deepest condolences to the Pierson family. Know that his memory will live on in all of us fortunate to have met him.

Steve was a good friend who always brought a good laugh to the golf course. We played many enjoyable rounds and had some good times usually at my expense...a particular cold December day at Blackhorse Golf Course comes to mind. He always was gracious and cared about those he knew. We will forever remember him and will salute him on a golf course soon. He made the world a better place for a lot of us and will be joining another one of his dear friends in heaven for a lot of laughs.
