Stephen Andrew Rader, 94 of Rollingstone, MN passed away peacefully at St Elizabeth’s Care Center on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024. He was born February 3, 1930 to John and Florence (Sherman) Rader. He graduated from Rollingstone Holy Trinity School and made Rollingstone his lifelong home.
He is survived by his high school sweet heart and wife of 72 years, Constance (Lewis), his son Paul (Vicki), daughters Dawn, and Cheryl (Robert Julich). He leaves behind 4 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, 4 sisters and a brother. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, three sisters, and son-in-law David Courtier. He loved his family dearly and will be missed by them and the community he lived in.
Stephen retired from a lifelong career with Warner & Swasey as head of electrical maintenance. In retirement he enjoyed researching local history, coaching little league baseball, collecting antique radios, gardening and helping out at Holy Trinity Church. He was especially proud to have been inducted into the MN Amateur Baseball Hall of Fame.
Funeral service will be on Saturday, April 6, 2024 at 11 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Rollingstone, Minnesota. Visitation will begin 1 hour prior to the start of the service. Burial will take place at Holy Trinity Catholic Cemetery.
