Stephen M. Reese Jr.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the loss of our beloved son and brother, Stephen Michael Reese Jr., who died June 15, 2023, in a car accident near West Chester.
He was also a very loving uncle, cousin, nephew and friend, and his family is deeply saddened by his sudden loss.
Stephen was 35 and lived in East Bradford. He attended West Chester public schools – Hillsdale, Stetson and Henderson High School – and Delaware County Community College.
In his youth he was a natural athlete and grew into a tall, strong young man who often could be found with a couple of nephews or nieces bouncing around in his always-open arms. His warm, disarming smile was as big as the rest of him, and friends will attest he would give you the shirt off his back. His favorite times were spent with his nephews and nieces playing with trucks in the house, singing and dancing, and making up games. He took them kayaking and horseback riding and even showed them how to split wood. His niece said Stephen taught them "how to be independent, but most importantly to love everyone and to have such a big heart."
He enjoyed operating heavy equipment for his father's excavating business, gardening with his mother, and preparing meals for his family.
Stephen is survived by his parents, Stephen Sr. and Dolores Reese; sisters Chanel (Vince), Candice, and Cora (Ryan); 12 nieces and nephews, Skylar, Anthony, Joseph, Nevaeh, Cole, Freddy, Nate, Emma, Danika, Alex, Braydon, and Carter; and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.
