Katie Seube
November 27, 2024
I worked with Steve so I would have him on the phone at least three times a week. He would go on these tangents and we'd just talk forever about absolutely nothing and then he would say "alright Katie you talk too much some of us have work to do". I would always end our calls telling him to be careful and to have a good day and he would say "no YOU you be careful". I loved seeing his name come up on my phone because I knew it was going to ne a wild conversation. I'm sorry that I never got to meet him in person but I am so glad I got to know him over the phone. I'm going to miss making fun of him pretending not to have a Boston accent. I'm going to miss getting him all worked up about movies or shows that I'd never even heard of but he thought were the most important things to ever happen. I'm going to miss his conspiracies about how "pigeons aren't born, they're manufactured. Have you ever seen a baby pigeon, Katie? No you haven't because they're manufactured" he was absolutely one of my favorite people.
