Stephen Lee "Steve" Richardson

Stephen Lee ''Steve'' Richardson, age 75 of Warren, AR, passed away Tuesday, December 30, 2025, at St. Vincent Hospital in Hot Springs, AR. He was born July 9, 1950, in Little Rock, AR to the late Bobby Gene Richardson and Joanne Kight Richardson.

He has been the owner/operator of Richardson Wood Company/LA Wood Company since 1982 and was a member of Immanual Baptist Church of Warren. Steve was a legendary duck hunter and turkey hunter and was known across south Arkansas as such. Nothing gave him more pride than to carry a youngster hunting to kill their first duck or turkey.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Bennett Richardson of Warren; his children, Dr. Sylvia Simon and husband Dr. Tim Simon, Keith Chambers and wife Christina, Morgan Meeks and husband Matt, Jenny Lemoine and husband Cliff, Brandi Collier and husband Jeff, Dr. Alexee Chambers and Stevie Richardson and wife Cassidy; one brother, Scott Richardson and wife Karen; grandchildren, Pete Simon, Mary Emma Moore, Jack Chambers, Mattie and McKinleigh Meeks, Nicholas and Caroline Lemoine, Jay and Jaxon Collier and Norris Brown; a niece, Scott Allison Johnson; and a nephew, Robert Austin Richardson.

Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 3, 2025, at Stephenson-Dearman Funeral Chapel with Rev. Sonny Tucker officiating. There will be a visitation from 1:00-3:00 Saturday preceding the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Hill Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Log-A-Load For Kids. Serving as pallbearers are Stevie Richardson, Jay Collier, Brian Wilder, Connor Wood, Armani Meza and William Morales.
