Steve passed away peacefully on November 10, 2023 after a courageous fight with Myelofibrosis.
Steve was preceded in death by his parents Zora, Alex, and Lona Ristich. He is survived by his brother Alex (Connie) Ristich; nieces Elizabeth (Eric) Yousey, Victoria (Mike) Rosato, and nephew, Alex III (Racheal) Ristich and their families; half brother Dan (Charlotte) Kovacevich. Steve's extended family includes Ron, Margaret, John, and Julie Paulus; Bob and Mary Ringeis; Pat and Terry Riley; Sandy and Bob Haydu; Lee Lewis; as well as a wealth of friends from the American and Serbian communities.
Per Steve's wishes, he has been cremated. Friends may call at the Anthony Funeral Home, 1990 S. Main St. on Saturday, November 18, 2023 from 1 to 3 p.m. Masonic Services will be held at 3 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cooper Cancer Center Infusion Center at Summa City Hospital. Condolences may be sent to the Ristich Family and/or the Paulus Family.
The family would like to thank the Nurses at the Cooper Cancer Center Infusion Center and the Summa at Home Nurses: Shannon and Angel for their love and care of Steve.
