Stephen Roser Obituary
Born in Lima, Ohio, he was the son of Norman and Imogene (Ramga) Roser. Stephen lived in Wapakoneta, Ohio; Fort Wayne, Indiana; Naples, Florida; and Ave Maria, Florida. He was a 1971 graduate of Shawnee High School and a 1973 graduate of Owens Technical College in Agri-Business.
Stephen worked at Lima's SOHIO refinery, the Hancock Soil & Water Conservation District, operated landscape and construction businesses, and worked in replacement and hurricane window and door sales.
He married Mary Elizabeth Moran in 1975; she preceded him in death in 2017.
A family man of faith, Stephen was a 4th Degree Knight of Columbus and Grand Knight with the Knights on Bikes. He loved the outdoors and camping.
A Funeral Mass will be held January 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Resurrection of Our Lord Catholic Church, Fort Myers, FL. Donations may be made to COR Expeditions.
He is survived by his son, Fr. Shawn Roser; his mother, Imogene; brothers Doug and Phil; and extended family.

I worked with Steve at Sohio Lima Refinery. He was great to work with and I called him my friend. I am sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers for him and his family.

Steve and I hired in Lima Refinery in May 1978. A very nice guy and good operator. He helped me at my river property on some improvements. He was on the Little Auglaize project in Putnam and Paulding counties from his college certification. I think about our talks and how it still looks good today.
