Stephen Saunders Obituary
It is difficult to capture a life as full and impactful as Stephen's in just a few sentences. He was a man who taught more through his actions than his words. Through his quiet strength, he showed the value of hard work, the importance of treating others with respect, and the integrity of living a life rooted in principle.
Stephen never sought the spotlight, yet his presence left a lasting mark wherever he went. Whether at work, among friends, or at home with family, he had a rare ability to make people feel seen, supported, and cared for. His legacy is not defined by titles or accomplishments, but by the countless lives he touched.
He will be deeply missed for his advice, his humor, and his unwavering presence. Those who loved him will continue to carry his example and strive to live in a way that honors the man he was.
Forever in our hearts, always our example. Rest easy.
Stephen is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Gina (Julian) Saunders; and sons, Nikolas and Salvatore Saunders.
Calling hours will be held on Friday, September 26th from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at FARONE & SON, Inc. Funeral Home, 4899 W. Taft Road, Liverpool. The funeral service will be on Saturday, September 27th at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial in Woodlawn Cemetery.

My deepest sympathies to the Saunders Family. I had the pleasure of knowing Steve through the insurance industry. We both started at around the same time. He at Travelers and myself at an agency. He was truly one of the nicest people I have ever met. He talked often of his boys and was incredibly proud of them. Thinking of you during this difficult time.

Gina, I am so saddened by Steve´s passing. Especially because I just saw you guys at Italian fest downtown and Steve gave me a big hug. I am so glad that I got to see Steve that night. There are special people that walk among us and Steve was one of them. I´m glad that I knew him.

Absolutely devastating to lose such an incredible human! As cliche as it may sound - Steve was truly one of a kind! His zest for life was indescribable, only to be understood by anyone who ever had the fortune to meet him. His love for his family was undeniable. We always talked about Gina and the boys before we ever spoke a word of insurance or our work lives. Steve made the world a brighter place!

He created deep relationships everywhere he went.
