Dr. Stephen Layne Stuart

I was a patient of his from the time I was 3 until I was 20 years old. I always loved Dr. Stuart. Karen, I remember you as well. I know I gave you a hard time when I was little. He will be missed. Sorry to hear of his passing.

I was a classmate of Steve's at Baylor College of Dentistry in the early '70's. I remember his great sense of humor and his love of sports. No doubt he is missed by his family, friends, and colleagues.

As a Nederland classmate, I never knew Steve to be anything but a terrific person, one of those guys that everyone likes and admires. He was a natural athlete, scholar, and a tremendous leader and he made it look easy. It's not.

May the good Lord bless and keep this family. Rest in peace Steve. You will be missed but not forgotten.

Please accept my most profound sympathy at the loss of Steve. He was an outstanding classmate from Nederland High School Class of 1967. I have many fond memories of Steve and of all of our school activities going back to 4th grade. We are all sad and feeling his loss. I am sending prayers for peace to his family. In a chat, he mentioned his great love of his grandchildren. He will be missed by so many!
